Dirty Little Secrets
The story is based around a suburban Australian family facing various dilemmas within and without their relationships. They may need to visit the depths of despair to find their way out and back together. Alan, Viki and their teenage daughter Britney are going through life, confronting many issues that we, ourselves, confront in our daily life. Tension builds, leading our characters to
the major obstacle of finding out how to rediscover the reasons why they fell in love with each other in the first place or risk losing it all.
Our Goal
We are aiming to shoot this project over 15 days and have a set a provisional budget of $15,000. If we are feasibly able to extend either of those targets we most definitely will consider every option.
The connection with people with disabilities
Both Peter and I have strong connections with people with disabilities. Peter has overcome (and continues to fight) the hurdles that have been presented to him with his own battles after being severely injured in a motorcycle accident over 20 years ago. My brother is autistic with non-verbal down syndrome. We would love to open up the possibility of including people with disabilities in our project. We have are decided that we would dedicate several cast and crew positions for those with disabilities.
Your help goes a long way
Although we are an independent production, working on a shoestring, we aim to be able to pay everyone involved least something whilst working. Then in full once the project as been released. Both Peter and I have worked on many student and independent projects over the years, never even being reimbursed for petrol to make it to the days work.
We endeavour to not only help the cast and crew with expenses, but aim to produce future films that will benefit not only them, but the entire community.
Other Ways You Can Help
Some people just can't contribute, but that doesn't mean they can't help:
